It all goes down in Shaw on a nice little Summer Saturday.
As a ticket holder, you get to try FOUR, EIGHT or ALL TWELVE mini burgers from the competing restaurants and vote for your favorite burger of the day — all while sampling great, craft beer and enjoying live tunes in the sunshine. At the end of the day, a winner for "Best BRGR of the Day" will be crowned. The winning meat master will take home four Diamond Club tickets to a Nationals home game, the "Golden Burger" trophy, and burger bragging rights for a year.

First and foremost, THANK YOU to all our amazing sponsors, charity partners, and restaurant competitors that make The DC BRGR Bash possible. Last year we donated $.50 for each mini-burger slung to ten different local charities. In total, six-thousand burgers were served raising a total of three-thousand dollars! This year, $.50 from each burger served will benefit DC Central Kitchen. Our goal is to contribute five-thousand dollars to DC Central Kitchen's efforts, including reducing hunger with recycled food, training unemployed adults for culinary careers, serving healthy school meals, and rebuilding urban food systems through social enterprise.
Our mission is simple: to host a memorable event that brings a community together over delicious food, awesome craft beer, great tunes, and a few laughs. A big part of fulfilling our mission is to make sure that the event improves each year.
Thanks to your feedback from last years' Bash, we believe that 2015 will be our best year yet.
Some notable additions for 2015 will include:
· A larger venue
· More beer stations
· An online voting system
· More hours to eat burgers & enjoy live music
· A vegetarian burger station

· More tables
