MEAT the Competition

Ten of the DMV’s best meat maestros, each representing their local neighborhood, duking it out for the best burger of the day with a "not-so-mini-burger," a custom built gourmet creation containing 3 oz. of blended beef bliss and up to five "toppings."

Event Details & Tickets


An insanely fun outdoor event with five hours of live music, a craft beer garden by DC Brau, Atlas Brew Works and New Belgium, and a friendly BRGR Battle between ten of the best grill masters in the DMV.

It all goes down on Saturday, July 19th from 12 pm - 6 pm at 945 Florida Avenue in Shaw, NW.

As a ticket holder, you get to try FIVE or ALL TEN “not-so-mini burgers” from the competing restaurants and vote for your favorite burger of the day — all while sampling great, craft beer and enjoying live tunes in the sunshine. At the end of the day, a winner for "Best BRGR of the Day" will be crowned. This restaurant takes home an EPIC trophy, a custom website at bestburgerindc.com, neighborhood pride, and burger bragging rights for a year.

Pretty sweet, right?   Yeah, we think so too!


The doors open at 12 pm. Music will begin at that time and continue until 6pm. The BRGR Battle will run from 12:30 pm to 5 pm (plenty of time to sample all the “not-so-mini” delights). Following the competition, votes will be counted and a winner will be announced at 5:45 pm.

There are 3 types of event tickets* (detailed info on the right), which are processed and issued through Eventbrite via email and mobile app. The morning of the Bash, you will receive an email with a map of the festival grounds and detailed information on what to bring and where to check in. If you plan on enjoying delicious, local craft beer, please remember to bring valid ID.

Nice! Here at D.C. BRGR Bash, we in making everybody happy and offering as much choice as possible. So there are three types of tickets, which allow you to customize your experience. Try 5 of the competitors burgers or grab a friend and crush all ten. It’s up to you!

Option One:   Burger Flight A   ·   $27 USD
Event access for one person, live music, games, and FIVE tickets for FIVE pre-selected "not-so-mini-burgers" from FIVE of the ten competitors.

Option Two:   Burger Flight B   ·   $27 USD
Event access for one person, live music, games, and FIVE tickets for FIVE pre-selected "not-so-mini-burgers" from the FIVE competitors not included in Burger Flight A.

Option Three:   10 Burgers for TWO   ·   $47 USD
Event access for two people, live music, games, and TEN tickets for TEN "not-so-mini-burgers" from ALL TEN competitors.

Hey there, early bird! Grab one of first hundred tickets for $25 and $45.

Regularly priced tickets are $27 and $47 up until 1 PM on the day of the BRGR Bash.

Not the commitment type? That's cool, but tickets are $30 and $50 at the door (If still available).
